Monday Unstructured Swimming Session for experienced swimmers aged 12+14:00-17:00

  • Swimming & watersports
  • One off
  • On your own
  • BNHF session

Our unstructured swimming session is for experienced who are aged 12-16, and are able to swim, but might find it hard to access a swimming pool during the holidays.

By booking into this session you will receive entry into the public swimming session (shallow pool) and they are able to swim/play/do as they wish.

Parents/friends/family are welcome to join but will need to book and pay via reception (done by calling 01603592398). Our Swim teacher will meet participants before they get changed to show/explain the changing rooms, how the pool works and suggest some activities they can undertake when they are swimming.

The swim teacher will be on the poolside to offer advice when needed. If you aren't able to swim, please look at booking into the Swimming Lessons we have on offer in the morning. Bookies will have access to a 2-hour slot, 14:00-16:00t. After their swim (they can spend as long or little in the pool) on their way out of the pool, they need to speak to the swim teacher as they will receive a food voucher to be spent in the Sportspark Cafe, to buy a hot meal of their choice, the voucher can either pay for the total amount of food or part when the total is greater, the participant will pay the difference. The cafe will have a set of tables reserved from 16:00-18:00 to allow space for participants to eat. The staff member will only join the remaining participants in the cafe when everyone has left the pool. A staff member will explain how and where to spend the voucher. The menu can be found here: https://www.sportspark.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/SP-Menus-FINAL_compressed.pdf

Participants do not need to stay for the whole session, they can spend as much time as they wish in the pool/cafe (max 2 hours in each). This session isn't structured participants will have free choice when to leave - a leave form will be completed when they sign in if they are coming on their own.
