Our Adult Shotokan Karate classes are 1 hour long and available for those 14+ years. Shotokan Karate is an ideal sport for both male and females as it provides a full-body workout whilst practicing self-defence. It helps to develop improved balance and posture, flexibility, and strength. Students are given the opportunity to progress through a grading system. All students start at white belt and can progress all the way up to black belt. Shotokan Karate classes typically cover three areas, Kihon (Basics), Kata (Forms) and Kumite (Sparring).
