About the facility
There was a wide range of facilities including a gym and swimming pool at Dereham Leisure Centre. They have a hoist, which is fantastic for people who are unable to get in and out of the pool without assistance. The staff were friendly and helpful and answered any questions the DRAGONs had.
The DRAGONs noted that there were plenty of activities they could take part in. They had a go at several of these and enjoyed them thoroughly.
The DRAGONs said:
'I liked how easy the bikes were to use, I just put my feet in and off I go.'
‘I liked the basketball and the football.’
‘It was great to see what we could do in the sports hall. I’ve been to the centre and wasn’t aware of all the different sports possible.’
