Flight is a boundary-pushing international theatre group deeply connected to East Anglia. We craft original live performances and films that are both playful and rebellious. We aim to blend personal, political, and experimental elements, delving into the unseen corners of life and offering fresh perspectives.

We love to shake things up by breaking down traditional narratives, defying expectations, and questioning the norm. Our shows mix poetic musings, everyday truths, physicality, and intimate moments in a unique concoction.

We're all about exploring new ways to connect with our audience, whether it's through visual, physical, or spatial means. We weave real-life stories and perspectives into our work, often collaborating with communities to bring diverse voices to the forefront.

Collaboration is key for us. We team up with a variety of artists from different backgrounds and cultures, drawing inspiration, pushing boundaries, and exploring new possibilities together.

Thanks to the support of venues, partners, and funders, both in the UK and abroad, we bring our performances and creative processes to life.

At Flight's helm is Sarah Calver, a passionate theatremaker and director. While we call East Anglia home, our performances take us far and wide.
