All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket will be returning on Sunday mornings from 10am - 11am for 8 weeks starting on the 29th May 2022. Both All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket cost £40 for the sessions and kit, for full details about each programme please see below.

All Stars Cricket (5-8 Years Old)

By registering for All Stars Cricket at Rocklands Cricket Club, your child will be guaranteed at least eight weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is suitable for all children new to cricket and sport as the sessions are designed to teach the basic skills of the game. Every child that Registers for All Stars Cricket will receive a backpack, cricket bat, personalised shirt with name, cap and activity book! Those All Stars that are returning for their second year will receive a different kit to progress their development as an All Star.

Dynamos Cricket (8 - 11 Years Old)

Dynamos is the ECB’s new programme launched last year to inspire all 8-11 year-old children to play cricket, learn new skills, make friends and fall in love with the game. Dynamos will provide your child/children with a more social offer focused on developing fundamental movement skills and applying them in an exciting game of countdown cricket. 

Every child who registers will receive their very own Dynamos Cricket New Balance t-shirt, personalised with their name and number. The programme will use soft balls and light wooden bats for eight one hour sessions. Sessions begin with a warm-up to get the children moving and recapping on gross motor skills and basic ball handling. The sessions continue with skill builders providing everything children need to play, particularly focusing on bowling, which can be the make-or-break element of any game of cricket! The session finishes with a game of countdown cricket that gives everyone a chance to participate in all elements of the game – batting, bowling and fielding.
