What is the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme?

Big Norfolk Holiday Fun is Norfolk’s response to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme; a scheme funded by the government and delivered by Active Norfolk and Norfolk County Council to school age children.

The programme offers up a variety of activities to children and young people, to give them a fun, creative and active outlet during the school holidays.

Who can take part in the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme?

Big Norfolk Holiday Fun is for all children and young people aged 4-16.

Free spaces on activities can be claimed by children eligible for means-tested free school meals. Children who do not claim free school meals can still join in with most activities for a small fee.

What activities will be happening over winter?

The next Big Norfolk Holiday Fun scheme will take place over the winter holidays from 19th December – 30th December. Bookings are live now!

There will be a range of activities available all over the county, aimed at various ages. These include football, basketball, circus skills, arts and crafts and dance. It also involves music, cookery, film-making and much more!
