Every Move is the new activity finder directory from Active Norfolk. Active Norfolk is the Active Partnership for Norfolk, one of a network of 43 Active Partnerships created by Sport England. We are hosted by Norfolk County Council.

Its role is to provide a strategic approach to the development of sport and physical activity in Norfolk. Its work aims to support Norfolk residents to lead healthy and active lifestyles.

Active Norfolk takes a partnership approach to our work. It works with different groups across the county ranging from statutory health bodies, local government, health and well-being groups, and also the education sector.

Active Norfolk works together with a range of organisations to create more activity opportunities, and to build awareness and understanding of how physical activity and sport can be used to support the wellbeing of residents and communities,

Active Norfolk’s primary role from Sport England encompasses the following core areas of work:

• Understanding the needs and issues of the population of Norfolk
• Growing partnerships across all three sectors to maximise reach and impact
• Assisting Sport England to successfully land local investment
• Supporting local government to achieve key objectives through increasing physical activity levels
